Silent reflection of time
by Najme.pilan
The walls knew our names, the pond our secrets. Now all that remains is water and a hand that searches for the past! The nostalgia in this image is not a longing for the past; it is the sadness of realizing that we can no longer touch directly. The hands that dip into the water are the last search for direct contact with the world. Before everything is named, defined, and distanced from us. Our childhood hands dip into the water, not realizing how slowly the moments slip away from us. The walls remember all our names, but the water only reflects the vibration of memories.
