Moment

Something begins only to end. It’s not that the story drags on; it only gains meaning through its end. I am constantly drawn toward this end, which might be my own death. Every moment comes only to bring the next moments. I cling to each moment with all my being. I know it is unique and irreplaceable, yet I cannot do anything to prevent its destruction.
