This work presents a tense female figure, constructed through digital manipulation of a photographic image. The body, fragmented by a vertical division, seems to inhabit two simultaneous spaces: on the left, a dark, textured plane traversed by organic forms reminiscent of botanical drawings or textile patterns; on the right, an intense red field that enhances the figure's physical presence. The almost fetal, curled-up posture suggests vulnerability, introspection, and restraint. However, the chromatic treatment breaks with any naturalism: the acidic, greenish, and saturated tones generate a sense of estrangement, as if the body were undergoing transformation or mutation. The partially blurred head reinforces the idea of an unstable or transient identity. The central division functions as a conceptual axis: it not only separates two visual environments but also posits a duality between the intimate and the exposed, the organic and the artificial, the contained and the violent. This fracture can also be interpreted as a psychological or emotional rift, a boundary between states of being. From a technical standpoint, the work combines photography with digital manipulation: layering, extreme color manipulation, the use of textures and transparencies, and blending modes that integrate drawing and photography. The result is a hybrid image that oscillates between the pictorial and the photographic.
