Unbound by Time

This is a collaboration between me and my dear talented @pantea Digital painting—> Eli Animation Poem & Music —> Pantea Time wouldn’t stop . It keeps moving forward, carrying us with it. Yet sometimes, we become so trapped in the past, the future, and the constant ticking of the clock that we forget how to truly live. In this work, the clocks represent the invisible chains of time the pressure, fear, and limitations that keep us trapped within ourselves. The sparrow inside the girl, imprisoned behind bars, represents the part of us that holds our dreams, desires, and freedom, quietly waiting to be released. But when the clocks break and time disappears, the bars fall away too. The sparrow is finally free. Music enters her life, her dress becomes vibrant, and the thorns begin to grow into green shoots. The world slowly comes alive again. This work is not about stopping time, because Time Wouldn’t Stop. It is about forgetting time. About stepping outside the endless counting of seconds, the weight of what has passed, and the fear of what is yet to come. Because perhaps freedom begins when we stop allowing time to control us and simply allow ourselves to live, dream, create, and feel. Time never stops. But we can choose to step outside its chains and make our lives colorful again. Poem : Within the clock hands, I stood alone, Lost in passing seconds, turned to stone. The clock slipped away, the daylight shook, The hourglass broke, a new breath took. The clocks stood still, time fell asleep, The walls of time collapsed deep. Inside my heart, a sparrow stayed, Behind the bars, afraid and frayed. Then suddenly, the bars broke free, The sparrow spread its wings to flee. It flew to rest upon a tree, And sang beneath the open sky, free. A violin appeared in my hands, A song of freedom filled the lands. I held it close and played that day, With every note, I found my way The thorns turned into shoots of green, My darkened dress turned bright red sheen. Sometimes we must release the hours, To watch the world awaken in flowers.
