Garnet

This vibrant stone is all about passion and creativity, being closely associated with the element of Fire. The Garnet can provide literal warmth, and can be of great assistance in times of dissociation and feelings of numbness. Fire relates to transformation and transmutation, and this stone helps with exactly that. It allows for the conversion of negative energy into strength and courage, it can take pain and suffering and transform that into compassion and vision. Associated with the Root and Sacral Chakras, the subtle aesthetic of the Garnet lends a grounding and protective earthly energy. Just like in electric circuitry, it works as an earthing cable, channelling your excess and unwanted energy into the ground thereby preventing any chances of an explosion. It dispels stagnant energies that make you feel sluggish and lazy, motivating you to continue on your journey and find your purpose. Representing raw masculine energies, the Garnet ensures that you get the job done. Regularly working with this stone can increase confidence in your artistic and creative endeavours, creating more space for self expression in its most pure form. It is also known to encourage libido and can help you get in touch with your innate sexual self. The Garnet boosts overall energy flow and circulation in the body, and can be used as a detox of any knots or blockages in your system.
