Winter Wonderland

Sometimes you know you have to get out and shoot because the light and conditions beckon you. This day was one of those. Wrapped up from head to toe, because of the cold, I set out. However, it is difficult to photograph with thick gloves. I took these off and on. And tried to keep myself warm enough. I was not beckoned for nothing. This is one of my favorite places in the area where I live. I have been there so often and photographed it several times. It still looks different every time. I think it's magical. The trees, some with beautifully colored leaves and others already bare. The leaves on the ground. The frost on the bottom and ice on the ditch, because of the frost. A line pattern of the shadows. And then those great sunbeams through the branches and on the leaves. A beautiful Winter Wonderland that will warm you up.
